How to Skip, Pause, Change or Cancel Your Rae Basics Subscription

You can skip, pause, change or cancel your Rae Basics subscription yourself in the customer portal: go to Account on raebasics.com, log in with the same email you used at checkout, then open Manage subscriptions. If the portal says "No subscriptions found" or something won't work, email hello@raebasics.com with your name and order number and we'll make the change for you.

Subscription changes are what people write to us about most, so I've put every step in one place. Whatever you change in the portal applies to orders that haven't been charged yet.

How to get to your subscription

1. Go to raebasics.com and tap Account.
2. Log in with the email address you used when you checked out.
3. Open Manage subscriptions.
4. You'll see each subscription you have, with the flavor, how often it ships and the date of your next order.

One mix-up we see: "Manage subscriptions" is your Bone Broth Protein Mix or magnesium deliveries. It has nothing to do with our email newsletter. Signing up for emails at the bottom of the site doesn't start, stop or change a subscription.

If it says "No subscriptions found"

Most of the time, you're logged in with a different email than the one you checked out with. It happens to all of us: a work email on one order, a personal one on another.

1. Find your subscription order confirmation in your inbox. The address it was sent to is the one on your subscription.
2. Log out of your account on raebasics.com.
3. Log back in with that email and open Manage subscriptions again.

Still nothing, or the page won't load? Don't keep fighting it. Email hello@raebasics.com with your name and order number, tell us what you'd like changed, and we'll do it for you.

How to skip an order

1. Open Manage subscriptions and choose the subscription.
2. Find your upcoming order and choose the option to skip it.
3. Confirm, then check the new next order date shown on the page.

A skip moves you out by one full cycle, so 4, 6 or 8 weeks depending on your plan. If you only need a few extra days, change the date instead (next section). We once heard from a customer who only wanted a one-week delay. The order got skipped instead, and they nearly ran out before the next bag came. Moving the date would have been the better fit.

How to change your next order date

1. Open Manage subscriptions and choose the subscription.
2. Choose the option to change or reschedule the next order date.
3. Pick the new date and save.

This works both ways. Pick a later date if you still have a bag in the pantry, or an earlier one if you're about to run out.

How to change how often it ships

1. Open Manage subscriptions and choose the subscription.
2. Choose the option to change your delivery frequency.
3. Pick the new schedule and save.

Bone Broth Protein Mix ships every 4, 6 or 8 weeks. A 26-serving bag lasts a little under 4 weeks at one scoop a day. Every 6 weeks fits about 4 scoops a week, and every 8 weeks fits about 3.

NO. 04 Magnesium Glycinate has two separate subscription plans. One sends 1 bottle every 30 days. The other sends 3 bottles together in one box, once every 90 days. Each bottle is 30 servings, so either way the schedule matches the supply. Because they're two different subscriptions, switching from one plan to the other isn't a frequency change. Just email hello@raebasics.com and we'll set it up for you.

How to swap flavors

1. Open Manage subscriptions and choose your Bone Broth Protein Mix subscription.
2. Choose the option to swap or edit the product.
3. Pick Classic Chocolate, Mocha or Caffeinated Chocolate and save.
4. Check that the flavor on the page is the one you meant before you leave.

Please double-check that last step. Caffeinated Chocolate is the only flavor with caffeine (60mg per scoop), and Classic Chocolate and Mocha have none. If you're not sure which one is for you, I wrote a guide to picking your flavor.

How to pause

1. Open Manage subscriptions and choose the subscription.
2. Choose the option to pause.
3. Confirm, then make sure the subscription shows as paused (not cancelled).

Pause is the one to use if you're traveling or have a few unopened bags at home. Your subscription stays set up, and you can turn it back on from the same page when you're ready.

How to cancel

1. Open Manage subscriptions and choose the subscription.
2. Choose the option to cancel and follow the prompts.
3. Check that the subscription now shows as cancelled. Take a screenshot if you like having a record.

If you have more than one subscription (one for each flavor, or one for bone broth and one for magnesium), each one is separate. Cancel each one you want to stop.

What about an order that's already processing?

Portal changes only reach orders that haven't been charged. Once a renewal is charged, it goes to packing and usually ships within 1 to 2 business days, so skipping or cancelling at that point won't pull it back.

If you were just charged for an order you didn't want, email hello@raebasics.com with your order number as soon as you can. I can't promise we'll catch it, and our Refund Policy doesn't cover subscription orders that have already been charged and shipped. If the bags arrive and you leave them sealed, though, you can still return them within 30 days of delivery for a refund (you cover the return shipping). Either way, we'll skip, pause or cancel what's coming next so it doesn't surprise you again.

Your next billing date is always shown in your account, where you can skip, reschedule or cancel before you're charged. If you tend to forget, put that date in your phone's calendar a few days ahead.

• Bone Broth Protein Mix, 26 servings: $52.99 a bag on subscription, compared with $59.99 one-time. That's $7 off every bag, every time it renews.
• NO. 04 Magnesium: $30 a bottle every 30 days ($36 one-time), or $85 for 3 bottles shipped together every 90 days ($102 one-time).
• Shipping: every subscription order ships free.
• The 12-serving bag ($32.99) is one-time only, so it isn't part of a subscription.
