This Privacy Policy describes how Rae Basics LLC ("Rae Basics," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase or other transaction using raebasics.com (the "Site" or "Services") or otherwise communicate with us. 2. Personal Information We Collect

When we use the term "personal information," we are referring to information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you. Personal information does not include information that has been de-identified or aggregated. Financial information including credit card, debit card, and financial account numbers, payment card information, transaction details, form of payment, payment confirmation, and other payment details. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

Communications with us including the content of customer support inquiries, product reviews, and other communications with us.

Creator and social media information if you take part in our creator or product gifting program, including your social media handle, public profile and content information, and the shipping details you give us.

Marketplace order information if you buy our products through a third-party marketplace such as Amazon or TikTok Shop, including the order and shipping details that marketplace provides to us to fulfill and support your order.

Sensitive personal information. We do not ask for sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, or precise geolocation. Account login credentials and payment card details are used only to provide your account and complete your transactions.

3. How We Collect Personal Information

We collect personal information from the following sources:

Directly from you when you create an account, place an order, enroll in a subscription, sign up for email or text messages, contact us, leave a review, or otherwise interact with the Site.
Automatically through the Services from your device and through cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies.
From our service providers who collect or process your personal information on our behalf.
From our partners and third parties including marketing partners, advertising networks, social media platforms, marketplaces where we sell our products, and the influencer platform we use for our creator program.

4. How We Use Your Personal Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

To provide, tailor, and improve the Services. To perform our contract with you, process payments, fulfill orders, manage subscription shipments, remember your preferences, send order and subscription notifications, create and manage your account, arrange shipping, facilitate returns, enable reviews, and customize your shopping experience.

For marketing and advertising. To send marketing and promotional communications via email, text message (with your consent), and postal mail; to show you targeted advertisements on our Site and across other platforms based on your interests, prior purchases, and browsing activity.

For our creator program. To communicate with creators, send gifted products, and review content created about our products.

For security and fraud prevention. To authenticate your account, detect and prevent fraud, protect public safety, and secure our Services.

For customer support and business operations. To respond to your inquiries, provide support, and maintain our business relationship.

For legal reasons. To comply with applicable law, respond to legal process, and enforce our terms and policies.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to collect information about your browsing activity on our Site. These include essential cookies required for the Site to function, analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the Site, and marketing cookies used to deliver relevant advertising.

6. Third Parties We Share Information With

We share your information with the following categories of service providers and partners to operate our business and provide our products:

Shopify. Our Site and e-commerce platform is hosted by Shopify, which processes your orders, stores your data, and provides the infrastructure for our Services. See Shopify's Privacy Policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.

Shopify Payments and checkout payment options. We use Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe) for payment processing. If you choose another payment option at checkout, such as Shop Pay, PayPal, or Apple Pay, that provider processes your payment information under its own privacy policy.

Appstle. We use Appstle to manage our subscription service. When you enroll in a subscription, your order, account, and billing information is shared with Appstle to process recurring orders and payments.

Klaviyo. We use Klaviyo for email and SMS marketing. When you opt in to receive our marketing communications, your contact information is shared with Klaviyo.

Loox. We use Loox to collect and display customer reviews. Review content you submit may be displayed publicly on our Site.

Meta (Facebook/Instagram). We use the Meta Pixel and Meta advertising tools to measure ad performance, build audiences, and deliver targeted advertising.

Google. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads, connected through Shopify's Google & YouTube channel, to understand site traffic and serve advertising.

TikTok. We use the TikTok Pixel and TikTok advertising tools for attribution and advertising. We also sell through TikTok Shop; purchases made there are also subject to TikTok's privacy policy.

Amazon. We sell our products on Amazon. Purchases made on Amazon are governed by Amazon's privacy notice, and we receive the order information Amazon provides to us to fulfill and support those orders.

Influencer platform. We use a third-party influencer platform to manage our creator and product gifting program, including creator communications and shipments of gifted products.

Fulfillment warehouse and shipping carriers. Your name, shipping address, and order details are shared with our third-party fulfillment warehouse and with shipping carriers to pack, ship, and deliver your orders.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, to protect our rights, to investigate fraud, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or sale.

Summary of Personal Information We Disclose

Contact details, transaction information, and account information: disclosed to Shopify, our payment processors, Appstle, Klaviyo (if you sign up for marketing), Loox (if you leave a review), our fulfillment warehouse, and shipping carriers, for business purposes such as completing your order.
Financial information: disclosed to our payment processors to complete transactions.
Device information, usage information, and identifiers: disclosed to Shopify, Google, Meta, and TikTok for analytics and advertising. Disclosures to advertising partners for targeted advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some state laws, and you can opt out at any time.
Creator and social media information: disclosed to our influencer platform and shipping partners to run our creator program.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, and reporting requirements. For customers with active accounts or subscriptions, we retain your information for the duration of your relationship with us and for a reasonable period thereafter.

8. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

Right to Access / Know. Confirm whether we process your personal information and request access to personal information we hold about you.

Right to Delete. Request deletion of personal information we maintain about you.

Right to Correct. Request correction of inaccurate personal information.

We may need to verify your identity before processing your request, for example by asking you to confirm information associated with your order or account. Where permitted by law, you may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may ask the agent for proof of your authorization and may ask you to verify your identity directly. We will respond within 45 days, or within the time required by your state's law. If we need more time, where the law allows, we will let you know.

Appeals

If we decline to take action on your request, you may appeal our decision by emailing hello@raebasics.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond to your appeal in writing within 60 days, or within the time required by your state's law, and explain our decision. If we deny your appeal, you may contact your state Attorney General. Texas residents may submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General at https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/consumer-protection/file-consumer-complaint.

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. However, some of our use of cookies and tracking technologies for advertising may be considered "sharing" (or a "sale") under the CCPA/CPRA. You may opt out on our Your Privacy Choices page, by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser, or by contacting us at hello@raebasics.com.

The categories of personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes for which we use it, the categories of third parties we disclose it to, and how long we keep it are described in Sections 2 through 7 of this Privacy Policy. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would give California residents a right to limit its use. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Texas Residents (TDPSA)

Rae Basics is a Texas company. If you are a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act may give you the right to confirm whether we process your personal data; to access, correct, and delete your personal data; to obtain a portable copy of your personal data; and to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We process personal data for targeted advertising as described in Sections 5 and 6, and you can opt out at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page. We do not sell sensitive personal data. You can exercise your rights and appeal our decisions as described above.

Other State Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, Montana, or another state with comprehensive privacy legislation, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, including rights of access, correction, deletion, and opting out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, and profiling. 10. Email and SMS Communications

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. You may opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP to any text message. Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you transactional messages related to your orders, account, and subscriptions.

We do not share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We share this information only with service providers, such as Klaviyo, that help us send messages on our behalf.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at hello@raebasics.com.

12. International Users

The Site is intended for use by individuals located within the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
