Frozen Fudge Pops

Kid friendlyMake aheadNo blender

Protein: about 10g per pop

View recipeHide recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops Bone Broth Protein Mix, Classic Chocolate
  • 1 1/2 cups plain Greek yogurt (whole milk or reduced fat makes the creamiest pops)
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional; taste the base first)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Steps

  1. Whisk the Mix and cocoa into the milk in a bowl or shaker until smooth.
  2. Stir in the yogurt, vanilla, salt, and sweetener until no streaks remain.
  3. Spoon into 6 popsicle molds (about 3 oz each). Tap the mold on the counter to release air bubbles, add sticks.
  4. Freeze at least 4 hours. Run the mold under warm water for 10 seconds to release.

Why it works: Greek yogurt keeps the pops creamy instead of icy, and the Mix brings cocoa depth and protein without sugar.

Skotie: Three boys, one freezer, zero arguments. They think it's dessert; I know each pop is about 10g of protein.

Warm chai spice and vanilla with 14g of protein, and nothing to steep.

No blenderEveningKid friendly

Protein: about 15g with almond milk, about 17g with oat milk, about 24g with dairy milk

View recipeHide recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop Bone Broth Protein Mix, Chai
  • 10 oz milk of choice (oat milk is the coffee-shop version)
  • Pinch of cinnamon or cardamom for the top (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp honey for the sweet-chai crowd (optional)

Steps

  1. Heat the milk until it steams, not boils.
  2. Put the scoop in your mug with 2 tablespoons of the hot milk. Stir into a smooth paste.
  3. Pour in the rest while stirring, or froth 10 seconds. Dust with cinnamon.

Why it works: the spice is already in the Mix, so there's no tea bag to steep or strain, and the paste step gives you latte texture without a machine.

Skotie: The one I make at 8 pm after bedtime. Warm, spiced, no caffeine, and it still counts as protein.

Protein: about 20g

View recipeHide recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop Bone Broth Protein Mix, Classic Chocolate
  • 3 tbsp oat flour (or blend rolled oats to a powder)
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg (or 3 tbsp mashed banana for egg-free)
  • 3 tbsp milk of choice
  • 1 tsp maple syrup or a few drops of liquid stevia (optional)
  • 1 tbsp dark chocolate chips (optional)

Steps

  1. In a 12 oz mug, whisk the Mix, oat flour, cocoa, and baking powder together so there are no lumps.
  2. Add the egg, milk, and sweetener. Stir until it looks like cake batter; add another splash of milk if it's stiff.
  3. Drop the chocolate chips on top.
  4. Microwave 60 seconds, then in 10-second bursts until the top is just set (usually 70 to 90 seconds total). Slightly soft in the middle is right; it firms as it cools.
  5. Rest 1 minute. Eat from the mug.

Why it works: oat flour and egg give the cake its structure so the Mix can stay fudgy instead of turning gummy, and the short cook keeps the chocolate flavor bright.

Protein: about 15g with almond milk, about 20g with dairy milk

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop Bone Broth Protein Mix, Mocha
  • 3/4 cup cold milk of choice
  • 4 oz chilled coffee or cold brew (or 1 shot espresso, cooled 2 minutes)
  • 1 cup ice
  • Optional: pinch of cinnamon, or a drizzle of sugar-free caramel

Steps

  1. Shake the Mix with the cold milk in a shaker or lidded jar for 15 seconds until smooth.
  2. Fill a tall glass with ice and pour in the coffee.
  3. Pour the mocha milk over the top and stir once. Dust with cinnamon.

Why it works: mixing the Mix into the milk before it meets the coffee is the whole trick; it dissolves clean and never clumps.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Toppings: sliced pear or apple, chopped pecans, a drizzle of honey

Steps

  1. Whisk the Mix and cinnamon into the milk in a jar until smooth.
  2. Stir in the oats, chia, yogurt, and salt.
  3. Lid on, refrigerate overnight. Top in the morning; warm 60 seconds if you want it hot.

Why it works: overnight soaking blooms the spice into the oats, and the extra pinch of cinnamon makes up for what cold soaking softens.

Protein: about 15g with almond milk, about 17g with dairy milk

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop Bone Broth Protein Mix, Caffeinated Chocolate
  • 8 oz hot brewed coffee
  • 2 to 4 oz milk of choice (or water)

Steps

  1. Put the scoop in your mug. Add the milk and stir into a smooth paste. This is the no-clump step.
  2. Pour in the hot coffee slowly while stirring, or run a frother for 10 seconds.
  3. Drink it like a mocha. Total caffeine is your coffee plus about 60mg.

Why it works: tempering the Mix with a little cool milk before the hot coffee keeps it silky and fully dissolved with nothing but a spoon.

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop Bone Broth Protein Mix, Classic Chocolate
  • 10 oz milk of choice (whole, oat, or almond), or water
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Mini marshmallows for the kids (optional)

Steps

  1. Heat the milk until it steams, not boils (about 2 minutes in the microwave, or on the stove until you see wisps).
  2. Put the scoop in your mug and add 2 tablespoons of the hot milk. Stir into a smooth paste.
  3. Pour in the rest of the milk while stirring, or run a frother for 10 seconds.
  4. Add the salt and vanilla. Marshmallows on top if it's for the kids.

Why it works: the paste step keeps it silky, and stopping short of a boil keeps the chocolate tasting like chocolate instead of cooked.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 scoop Bone Broth Protein Mix, Classic Chocolate
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (optional, for creaminess and protein)
  • 1 tsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Toppings: sliced banana, peanut butter, or cacao nibs

Steps

  1. In a jar, whisk the Mix into the milk until smooth. Do this first; it dissolves in cold milk in about 20 seconds.
  2. Stir in the oats, chia, yogurt, salt, and sweetener if using.
  3. Lid on. Refrigerate overnight, or at least 4 hours.
  4. Stir in the morning and loosen with a splash of milk if it's thick. Add toppings.

Why it works: mixing the Mix into the milk before the oats means no dry pockets, and the chia sets the texture without any cooking.

Protein: about 24g per serving (3 pancakes)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats (or 3/4 cup oat flour)
  • 2 scoops Bone Broth Protein Mix, Classic Chocolate
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice, plus more if needed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Butter or oil for the pan

Steps

  1. Blend the oats to a flour (skip if using oat flour). Whisk in the Mix, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Blend or mash the banana with the eggs, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Stir the wet into the dry just until combined. Rest 5 minutes; the batter thickens.
  3. Heat a nonstick pan over medium-low and grease it. Pour 1/4 cup per pancake.
  4. Cook 2 to 3 minutes until bubbles pop and the edges look dry. Flip and cook 1 to 2 minutes more. Keep the heat moderate; these brown faster than regular pancakes.
  5. Serve with berries, peanut butter, or a little maple syrup. Freeze extras between parchment.

Why it works: banana and eggs do the lifting and keep the pancakes moist, so the Mix adds flavor and protein without drying them out.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana, sliced
  • 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup ice (skip for a thinner drink)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt, or a handful of spinach (you will not taste it)

Steps

  1. Milk in the blender first, then the Mix, peanut butter, banana, salt, and ice.
  2. Blend 30 to 45 seconds. Stop as soon as it's creamy so it doesn't go foamy.
  3. Pour and drink now, or lid it for the car.

Why it works: frozen banana gives the body of ice cream with no added sugar, and liquid-first keeps the Mix off the blades.

Make aheadNo blenderMeal prep

Protein: about 7g per 1/4 cup with almond milk, about 9g with dairy milk

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops Bone Broth Protein Mix, Mocha
  • 1 cup milk of choice (oat or whole milk make the creamiest)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)

Steps

  1. Add everything to a jar with a tight lid. Shake 20 seconds until no powder is visible (or blend 10 seconds).
  2. Refrigerate up to 5 days. Shake before every pour; it settles.
  3. Use 1/4 cup per 8 oz coffee, hot or iced. For hot coffee, pour the creamer into the mug first, then the coffee, and stir.

Why it works: the Mix dissolves fully in cold milk, so the creamer stays smooth in the fridge and doesn't seize when the hot coffee hits it.

  2. In the mug, stir the Mix into 2 tablespoons of the hot milk to make a paste.
  3. Pour in the rest while stirring, or froth 10 seconds. Dust with cinnamon.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 tsp maple syrup (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Toppings: banana, cacao nibs, a spoon of Greek yogurt

Steps

  1. Whisk or shake the Mix into the milk until smooth.
  2. Stir in the chia, vanilla, salt, and sweetener. Wait 5 minutes, then stir again so the chia doesn't settle into a clump.
  3. Divide between two jars. Chill at least 2 hours, or overnight.
  4. Top and eat cold.

Why it works: the second stir is the difference between pudding and a chia brick, and a 5-to-1 milk-to-chia ratio sets it soft enough to spoon.

Steps

  1. Liquids in first, then the Mix, banana, and ice.
  2. Blend 30 to 45 seconds until smooth and thick.

Why it works: frozen banana thickens it like a milkshake with no added sugar, and chilled coffee keeps the ice from watering it down.

  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 to 2 tbsp milk, only if the dough is dry

Steps

  1. Stir the Mix, oats, flax, and salt together in a bowl.
  2. Add the nut butter, honey, and vanilla. Mix with a spatula, then your hands, until it holds together. Add milk 1 tablespoon at a time if it's crumbly.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips. Chill 15 minutes so it rolls clean.

Ingredients

  • Way 1, no coffee maker: 1/2 scoop Bone Broth Protein Mix, Chai, plus 1/2 scoop Bone Broth Protein Mix, Caffeinated Chocolate; 10 oz milk of choice
  • Way 2, classic: 1 scoop Bone Broth Protein Mix, Chai; 8 oz milk of choice; 1 shot espresso or 2 oz strong coffee

Steps

  1. Heat the milk until it steams.
  2. In the mug, stir the Mix (both halves for Way 1) into 2 tablespoons of the hot milk to make a paste.
  3. Pour in the rest of the milk while stirring.
  4. Way 2 only: let the espresso cool 1 minute, then pour it over the top. Dust with cinnamon.

Why it works: Way 1 gives a mocha-chai cup with about 30mg of caffeine; Way 2 is the coffee-shop "dirty" chai, and adding the shot last keeps it smooth.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats (or 3/4 cup oat flour)
  • 2 scoops Bone Broth Protein Mix, Chai
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice, plus more if needed
  • 1 tbsp melted butter or coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Steps

  1. Blend the oats to a flour. Add the Mix, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt; pulse to combine.
  2. Add the eggs, yogurt, milk, butter, and vanilla. Blend just until smooth; the batter should pour slowly. Rest 5 minutes.
  3. Preheat the waffle iron on medium and grease it. Pour 1/2 cup batter per waffle.
  4. Cook until the steam stops and the outside is golden, 3 to 4 minutes. Don't open it early.
  5. Serve with pear slices and a little maple syrup. Freeze extras and reheat in the toaster.

Why it works: yogurt and eggs give lift and keep the inside tender, and the medium setting crisps the outside before the spice fades.
