Purchase Options Cancellation Policy

This Purchase Options Cancellation Policy governs all subscription and recurring purchase options offered by Rae Basics LLC. This policy is designed to comply with the Federal Trade Commission's Negative Option Rule (the "Click-to-Cancel Rule"), California's Automatic Renewal Law, and similar state laws.

Subscription Terms at a Glance

When you enroll in a Rae Basics subscription, you agree to the following material terms:

  • Discount: 25% off the regular retail price on every recurring subscription order
  • Free Shipping: All subscription orders include complimentary standard shipping within the United States
  • Delivery Frequency: You select a recurring delivery frequency of every 4 weeks, 6 weeks, or 8 weeks
  • Recurring Billing: Your selected payment method will be automatically charged on each recurring billing date until you cancel
  • Billing Date: Subscription billing occurs on the 1st of each applicable billing cycle based on your selected frequency
  • No Commitment: There is no minimum commitment. You can cancel at any time before your next billing date
  • No Cancellation Fees: There are no fees or penalties for canceling your subscription

Your Consent to Recurring Billing

By enrolling in a subscription, you expressly consent to Rae Basics automatically charging your selected payment method on a recurring basis at the frequency you selected. Your subscription will continue, and your payment method will be charged, until you cancel.

This consent is separate from, and in addition to, your acceptance of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Billing and Payment

Billing Date. Subscription billing occurs on the 1st of each applicable billing cycle based on your selected delivery frequency. If your billing date falls on a weekend or holiday, your payment will be processed on the next business day.

Advance Notification. You will receive an email notification before each billing date, giving you the opportunity to make changes to your order, skip the shipment, or cancel before you are charged.

Post-Transaction Confirmation. After each subscription order is processed, you will receive an email receipt confirming the billing amount, the products shipped, your next scheduled billing date, and instructions on how to manage or cancel your subscription.

Payment Methods. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods supported by Shopify Payments. It is your responsibility to ensure your payment information is current and valid. If your payment method is declined, we may retry the charge and may pause or cancel your subscription if payment cannot be processed.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. If we increase the price of a subscribed product, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance of the new price taking effect. You will have the opportunity to cancel your subscription before the new price is applied. If you do not cancel, your continued subscription will constitute acceptance of the new price.

How to Cancel Your Subscription — Simple and Easy

You can cancel your Rae Basics subscription at any time, for any reason, using the same method you used to enroll. No phone calls, no live chats, no retention attempts, no questions asked.

Option 1: Cancel Online Through Your Account (Fastest)

  1. Log in to your customer account at raebasics.com
  2. Click on "Manage Subscription" or "My Subscriptions"
  3. Select the subscription you want to cancel
  4. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  5. Confirm your cancellation

Your cancellation will take effect immediately. You will receive an email confirming your cancellation.

Option 2: Cancel by Email

Send an email to hello@raebasics.com with the subject line "Cancel Subscription" and include:

  • Your full name
  • The email address used to place your order
  • Your order number or subscription ID (if available)

We will process your cancellation within 1 business day of receiving your email and send you a confirmation.

Important: Cancellation Timing

To avoid being charged for an upcoming shipment, your cancellation must be completed before your next billing date. Once a subscription order has been processed and charged, it cannot be canceled or refunded, and the order will ship. Shipped orders are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

Skipping a Shipment

If you'd like to pause your subscription for a single cycle without canceling, you can skip an upcoming shipment at any time before your next billing date:

  1. Log in to your customer account
  2. Click on "Manage Subscription"
  3. Select the upcoming order and click "Skip"

Your subscription will remain active, and your next order will be scheduled according to your regular frequency.

Pausing Your Subscription

You may pause your subscription through your customer account portal. While paused, you will not be charged and no orders will be shipped. You can resume at any time.

Changing Your Subscription

You can modify your subscription — change delivery frequency, update shipping address, update payment method, or swap products (subject to availability) — at any time through your customer account portal or by emailing hello@raebasics.com.

Changes must be made before your next billing date to take effect for the upcoming order.

Subscription Returns and Refunds

Subscription orders are subject to our Return & Refund Policy. Unopened products may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Opened or partially consumed products are not eligible for return.

Once a subscription order has been processed and shipped, it is not eligible for cancellation or refund — only for return in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.

Product Availability

If a subscribed product becomes temporarily or permanently unavailable, we will notify you by email and provide options, which may include:

  • Substituting a comparable product (with your approval)
  • Pausing your subscription until the product is back in stock
  • Canceling the affected subscription with no penalty

Misrepresentation

We are committed to honest and transparent subscription practices. All subscription terms — pricing, frequency, charges, cancellation procedures, and any limitations — are disclosed clearly on our Site before you enroll and are confirmed in your post-purchase email receipt.

California Residents — Automatic Renewal Law Disclosures

If you are a California resident:

  • Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the frequency you selected, and your payment method will be charged on each billing date, until you cancel.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time, online, through your customer account, or by emailing hello@raebasics.com. No phone call is required.
  • Renewal Pricing: The price of each recurring order is the subscription price at the time of billing, subject to any price change notifications sent at least 30 days in advance.
  • Promotional Offers: If your subscription began with a promotional or discounted offer, the discount will continue as described at the time of enrollment. You will be notified of any changes.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Purchase Options Cancellation Policy at any time. We will notify active subscribers of any material changes by email at least 30 days in advance. Your continued subscription after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
